Marketing & Communications Manager

Based: Burnley

Transdev Blazefield has 6 subsidiary companies in Lancashire and Yorkshire. Each of the companies has its own identity along with a number of high profile individually branded products and services and together with a diverse customer and staff base.

This is a high profile role, the successful applicant will be responsible for the development and management of the Marketing and PR functions, Internal Communications, Promotions and Service and Product Publicity.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate experience in a previous marketing role and ideally have a broader commercial and/or operational background within the industry. All applicants must be in possession of the following skills and qualities:

  • A creative and imaginative personality.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Ability to develop and manage a program of projects and initiatives working to strict timescales.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A team player.
  • Ability to manage a small support team.

Bus Drivers

We are not currently recruiting driving staff, but we do have a waiting list for people interested in joining us as bus drivers at our two garages in Blackburn.

If you enjoy meeting people, consider yourself a safe driver, and are looking for a rewarding job where you are out and about all the time, then consider joining our professional team of bus drivers.

If you have a clean driving licence then we can train you to obtain the vocational requirement that you will need.

If you already hold PCV entitlement then we can fast-track you, but you may still need some training to ensure you meet our high standards.
