18 February 2008 – Diversion to SpotOn Route 7
Windsor Road in Knuzden will be closed from its junction with Blackburn Road to the junction of Brantwood Avenue to allow for sewer refurbishment.
Buses from Blackburn to Accrington via Oswaldtwistle will run as normal to Intack (Accrington Road), then via Shadsworth Road and Bank Lane to Stanhill Road, then via normal route.
Buses from Accrington to to Blackburn via Oswaldtwistle will run as normal to Stanhill Road, then via Bank Lane and Shadsworth Road to Intack (Accrington Road), then via normal route.
Customers who normally use bus stops served by SpotOn Route 7 at the northern end of Windsor Road should instead use SpotOn Route 6, with the nearest bus stops being in Blackburn Road.
For customers who normally use the stops at the southern end of Windsor Road, temporary bus stops will be sited on Stanhill Road, near to the junction with Windsor Road.
The closure will commence from 0700 on Monday 18 February 2008 and is likely to be in place until early April 2008.
Route 946 from Accrington to Blackburn St. Mary’s College will follow the same diversion as SpotOn Route 7.
